Story Behind the phenomenon of Blue Moon

LONDON - rare natural phenomenon called the Blue Moon in the sky on July 31, 2015. Using the term Blue Moon, does not mean moon be colored blue, although there is the possibility of it happening.
Blue Moon itself is defined as the second full moon that occurred in the same month. The term Blue Moon in use today began when a writer made a mistake. According to Philip Hiscock, folklorist at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, the phrase Blue Moon was a creature of folklore.

In 1946, amateur astronomer James Hugh Pruett (1886-1955) wrote in the magazine Sky & Telescope. Pruett made the wrong assumption in the Maine Farmers Almanac, which consistently uses the Blue Moon to mean the third full moon in a season of four full moon happens.
However Hiscock and Texas astonom Donald W. Olson helped the magazine out of the mistake and admit mistakes. That mistake led to the definition of Blue Moon as the second full moon in the same month. Blue Moon himself reported to occur approximately every 2.7 years.
Blue Moon is reported to occur on July 31, 2015, after the first full moon appeared on July 1, 2015. Although, the Moon to describe Blue Moon is not blue, the moon does not rule out the possibility of changing the color to blue? The answer, it could.
According to scientists, the Moon will be blue when there is a forest fire or volcanic eruption that caused the smoke or ash rises into the atmosphere, and this time the possibility of the Moon will be blue.
